Request staff for METSTRADEConnect each visit with the right meeting.
At a leisure marine equipment show, an enquiry may come from a boatbuilder, distributor, integrator or marina manager. Staff welcome visitors, identify their interests and guide them to the exhibitor’s relevant contact. Specifications, compatibility and commercial decisions remain with your specialists.
Request hostesses, hosts and booth support for METSTRADE, 17–19 November 2026 at RAI Amsterdam. The proposal specifies positions, languages, service hours, relief cover and training on the booth journey. Wira is an independent service provider for exhibitors, not the show organiser. Accreditation, a confirmed team or availability are not assumed.
Roles for a marine equipment booth.
Welcome and routing
Greet visitors, ask which product family interests them and refer them to the right person. The brief distinguishes distributors, boatbuilding professionals, integrators and other contacts without assigning reception staff an unverified technical qualification.
Buyer meeting schedules
Check name, appointment time and host against the supplied schedule. Manage waiting and alert the sales contact when a discussion runs over; do not promise a meeting or access private calendars without permission.
Demonstration support
Invite visitors to scheduled sessions, organise the group and distribute approved materials. Operating equipment, tools or installations and answering safety or compatibility questions remain with the authorised specialist.
Contact records and handover
Collect only agreed information using the exhibitor’s system, privacy instructions and individual access where appropriate. Record interest and next steps for the sales team; qualified leads or sales are not guaranteed.
Plan coverage across the three days.
Shifts and breaks
Public opening hours are 10:00–18:00 on 17 and 18 November, and 10:00–17:00 on 19 November. Briefing, access, breaks and closing tasks need a separate service schedule; paid working hours cannot be inferred from visitor opening times.
Languages by role
Specify English reception, support for a particular market or professional interpreting. Define language level, terminology and script; Dutch or other languages are not assumed for every profile.
Products and materials
Provide a product-family map, technical contacts, approved information sheets and questions to escalate. Distinguish display samples, handout materials and items that staff must not handle.
Relief cover and closing
Agree cover for each position and how to report incidents, delays or changes. At closing, return devices and materials, hand over outstanding actions and close access according to exhibitor instructions.
What to send for a staffing proposal.
Booth and visitors
Hall, booth number, floor plan and visitor types. Identify reception and waiting positions and any areas requiring escort or authorisation.
Programme and coverage
Actual service dates and hours, meeting schedule, demonstrations, breaks and simultaneous positions. A later reception outside the venue is assessed as additional scope.
Roles and languages
Responsibilities, required language level, dress code, advance training and escalation contacts. Technical work needs its own suitable profile and validation.
Tools and terms
Contact system, devices, access, permissions, responsible contacts, indicative budget and existing suppliers. The proposal specifies line items, coverage and terms before confirming the team.
