Reception that distinguishes products, demonstrations and buying decisions.

At HOST Milano, visitors may ask about a coffee machine, a kitchen solution, pastry equipment or furnishings for a project. Hostesses, hosts and booth staff welcome professionals, identify their interest and connect them with the relevant sales contact, demonstrator or product specialist. Technical explanations, specialist preparation and commercial terms remain with the responsible professionals.

The next edition is announced for 22–26 October 2027 at fieramilano, Rho. Wira provides independent exhibitor support and is not the organiser. Accreditation, availability and a confirmed team are not assumed. Practical information still retains 2025 opening hours; 2027 service hours, access and programme must be reconfirmed before finalising the proposal.

Route visitors by objective and range.

01

HoReCa reception

Ask which activity the visitor represents and what solution interests them: foodservice, accommodation, distribution, a project or technical support. Use exhibitor-provided categories without treating a registered contact as a validated sales opportunity.

02

Buyer appointments

Check appointments and hosts, organise waiting and report meetings that run over. Define walk-in handling and routing for enquiries about another range or market.

03

Demonstration sessions

Explain the next session and waiting point using the approved script. Bookings, capacity, operating-area access and programme changes follow the exhibitor’s instructions.

04

Materials and follow-up

Distribute the correct catalogue or reference sheet and record product interest and the next step in the authorised tool. Do not commit to prices, supply, installation or sales outcomes.

Separate reception, service and equipment operation.

01

Coffee and bar

Reception does not equal a barista, bartender or machine technician. Specify preparation, serving, training or demonstration tasks so appropriate profiles, equipment and responsibilities can be assessed.

02

Kitchen and pastry

Preparation, ovens or machinery, storage and product serving need defined scope. Visitor support does not imply authorisation to cook, operate equipment or answer allergen questions.

03

Informed tastings

The product owner supplies ingredients, allergens, approved messages and serving procedures. Escalate questions to the specialist; do not improvise dietary advice or guarantee suitability.

04

Resources and relief cover

Identify who provides products, utensils, cleaning, water, power and replenishment. Agree breaks and cover for each position; a busy appointment schedule and a simultaneous demonstration may need separate roles.

Four areas to brief for your team.

01

Booth and range

Hall, booth number, layout and product families. Distinguish reception, meetings, demonstrations, preparation and serving, with restricted areas and responsible contacts.

02

Programme and hours

Actual dates and service hours, buyer appointments, sessions, briefing, breaks and closing. Do not reuse 2025 visitor opening hours as 2027 shifts or assume identical coverage for every activity.

03

Languages and training

Language level by role, product terminology, dress code and approved materials. Technical interpreting, presenting and specialist preparation are assessed as duties distinct from reception.

04

Tools and terms

Registration system, devices, badges, suppliers, resources and indicative budget. The proposal confirms included items, responsibility for each operation and service terms.

Questions for planning HOST Milano.

01

When and where is HOST Milano 2027?

The organiser announces 22–26 October 2027 at fieramilano, Rho. The useful-information page still retains 2025 opening hours; 2027 hours, access and booth location must be reconfirmed.

02

What staff can I request for the booth?

Hostesses, hosts and support for reception, appointments, routing between ranges, sessions and contact registration. Baristas, bartenders, presenters and other specialist functions are assessed separately against a specific brief.

03

Does reception include making coffee, cooking or operating machinery?

Not automatically. Every operation needs defined duties, training, authorisation and resources. Booking visitor support does not imply technical qualification or food preparation and serving coverage.

04

How are ingredient and allergen questions handled?

The exhibitor provides approved information and identifies the product owner. Staff communicate only agreed messages within their training and refer questions to the responsible person; they do not improvise health or dietary-suitability answers.

05

Are products, equipment and cleaning included?

Only items expressly specified and confirmed in the proposal. Responsibilities for preparation, serving, replenishment, cleaning, storage and venue conditions must be identified; a complete operation is not assumed.

06

What do we need for a staffing proposal?

Send booth details, range, visitors, programme, simultaneous duties, languages and service hours. Include equipment, products and responsible contacts for demonstrations or tastings. The form retains the HOST Milano reference for scope and terms review.
